The SmallRig Full Cage for Sony Alpha 7R V / Alpha 7 IV / Alpha 7S III / Alpha 1 / Alpha 7R IV 3667B is specifically designed to provide accessory mounts and protect your camera. It securely locks the camera in place using one bottom locating pin, one 1/4"-20 screw, and one M2.5 screw on the left side. To fit different camera types, you can adjust the side lock adapters. The “A7 IV” version fits the Alpha 7 IV and Alpha 7R V, while the “A7S III/A1” version is meant for the Alpha 7S III, Alpha 1, and Alpha 7R IV. Furthermore, the cage includes built-in all-around protective spacers, which prevent the camera from being scratched. You’ll also have full access to the camera’s interfaces, dials, buttons, and battery door. The spindle spanner at the battery compartment fits the camera’s curve and leaves space for your little finger, ensuring a comfortable grip. The cage offers various accessory mounting options, such as 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, and cold shoe mounts. These accommodate accessories like the top handle 2165C, side handle 2093, monitor mount 2903, microphones, LED lights, and monitors. The bottom OD socket also supports a QD shoulder strap. The Arca-Swiss quick release plate at the bottom is compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, and RS 3 Pro stabilizers. This feature enables quick attachment and release for stabilizer shooting. Additionally, the quick release plate (riser plate) of the DJI RS 2/RSC 2 stabilizer works seamlessly. For enhanced functionality, you can use the optional HDMI Cable Clamp 3000. It works with the Alpha 7R V, Alpha 7 IV, and Alpha 7S III to protect interfaces and ensure stable signal transmission during filming. The cage also features holes on the sides and bottom for attaching accessories like hand straps (PAC2456) and shoulder straps (PSC2428). Lastly, the cage comes with a built-in magnetic spanner, which makes both disassembly and assembly easy.

Notes:

1. After securing the 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom of the cage, remove the anti-deflection pin from the staging hole in the battery compartment. Then, secure it in the corresponding position.
2. To use the side lock adapter, remove the split ring from the left side of the camera.
3. The HDMI Cable Clamp 3000 is not compatible with the Alpha 1 and Alpha 7R IV cameras. It may also interfere with the synchroterminal interface when used on the Alpha 7R V camera.
