The SmallRig Rotatable Horizontal-to-Vertical Mount Plate Kit for Sony Alpha 1 / Alpha 7 / Alpha 9 / FX Series 4244 is designed to enable quick switching between horizontal and vertical shooting without adjusting the lens's optical axis. This feature ensures that you maintain full access to the LCD flip screen and ports while shooting. Additionally, the mount plate includes built-in pads to prevent scratches and twisting, keeping your equipment safe and secure. The kit features an Arca-Swiss quick release plate, allowing you to lock or release your camera or cage in seconds. It is also compatible with DJI RS-series gimbals, Arca-type tripods, and Manfrotto RC2 tripods. With just a simple unlocking of the knob, you can rotate the lens collar mount plate by 90 degrees, switching easily between horizontal and vertical shooting modes. The bottom of the plate has both 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes, offering support for other quick-release plates. For added convenience, a magnetic dual-head wrench is included in the baseplate, making installation and release quick and easy.
